Carrie was elected to Oak Bay Council in 2022 with a campaign that highlighted climate action, housing diversity, sustainable transportation and inclusivity.
Carrie moved to Victoria in 1993 to study visual arts at the University of Victoria. She grew her love of the arts into a career in architecture. She has always pursued opportunities to make community impact in her work, focusing her career on public spaces, urban planning, and multi family housing.
Carrie lives on Harling Point with her husband, two teenage children, a cat and dog. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, cycling, board games, gardening, and painting.
